Step into a different Bitcoin Event
At the Bitcoin Freedom Festival we will be offering a whole host of activities that will captivate and inspire you, regardless of whether you're a newb to Bitcoin or an experienced OJ pleb.

Below is a list of some of the activities that will be running in tangent to all our amazing speakers and workshops.
Daily Market
At the festival you will find a daily market with local organic fruit vendors, artisanal crafts from all over the world, art , live music and so much more that you can buy using Bitcoin lightning network.
Pop Up Bitcoin Merchandise Bazaar
If you are an independent creator of Bitcoin or Nostr merchandise you will be able to sell your products for free at the Freedom Festival. The daily pop-up market will allow you to show case your products and sell directly to other festival goers.

Practical Bitcoin Workshops
There's a lot of new things to learn when you enter the world of Bitcoin. At the Festival we will be actively demystifying these new skills with many hands on and easy to understand workshops.

Holistic Treatments Hub
The freedom festival will connect you to a host of expert healers who will be able to either treat you directly onsite or offer great alternative health treatments. We will have massage, cold plunge, bio scan and much more. Don't forget to take a dip and cool down in the river behind Awake.

Plant Medicines
The southern area of Costa Rica is known for its deep connections to the jungle and the many plant medicines it offers.
If you want to deep dive into the next level, then this may be something you might want to explore. There will be a host of Jungle medicines available during and after the festival.
UnConference Networking Afternoon
This is a great way to make new friends straight away. The first afternoon will be dedicated to an un conference format. Festival goers will be able to post up topics they're interested in. In the afternoon areas will be allocated for different topics. Everyone will be free to go to these and meet and interact with people who share the same interests.
Festival Activities
Immerse yourself into our Bitcoin citadel. Not only will there be panels and speakers there will be many side activities to complete your family vacation.
There will be an obstacle course, trivia, scavenger hunt, daily yoga and workout sessions, coffee workshop, exotic fruit tasting open mic and our house special ecstatic dance.
Food & Snacks Market
Breakfast and a variety of food throughout the day will be available onsite for purchase via the Lightning Network.
There is also a Gastro Park which is just a short walk away where all the restaurants accept Bitcoin.
Kid Zone
The Freedom Festival is a family friendly event. There will be dedicated, safe kid zone for kids to hang out at with parent supervision.
All children under 17 or under are free.
Lifestyle Workshops
During the festival we will have many workshops to combine our passions at Awake incorporating them into daily life. Activities include water and cacao ceremonies, drum circle, heart song circle, kirtan, an embodiment workshop and breathwork.
Beach Party & Bonfire
To round off the freedom festival we will host a sunset beach party and evening bonfire - you won't want to leave Costa Rica!
